The Board of Directors and Staff of Big Brothers Big Sisters are a compassionate and dedicated group of individuals who are willing to do whatever it takes to help change children’s lives for the better.

Gail Fernett, President

Landmarc Real Estate, President and Owner 

Gail is the Owner and President of Landmarc Real Estate a leading provider of community association management services.  Through her dedication and commitment to excellence, she has made education a priority. Her credentials include Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®), Association Management Specialist (AMS®) and the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation from the Community Associations Institute (CAI). 
Gail has been a long time supporter of Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters. She contributes regularly to Fredericksburg area non-profit organizations.  Gail lives in Fredericksburg with her family

Jackie Baker, First Vice President

Union Bank & Trust, Senior Vice President
Jackie has over 22 years experience in banking. She has served in various positions and currently serves as Senior Vice President Commercial Banker.  
Jackie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Finance from York College of Pennsylvania where she graduated cum laude and was an active member of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. She has also graduated from The Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia in 2002 and the ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.  
Jackie is active on community boards within the Greater Fredericksburg community. In addition to her service on the Board of Directors of the Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters, Jackie is the past Treasurer of the Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assault. Jackie lives in Fredericksburg with her husband, Brad and two daughters.

Catherine Moss, Second Vice President and Secretary

Lloyd F. Moss, DDS, Office Manager
Catherine is a Labor and Employee Relations Specialist at the Naval Warfare Surface Center, Dahlgren Division.  She has served at the base for six years. Prior to her time at Dahlgren, Catherine earned her Business degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and gained experience with the banking industry.  While working at Dahlgren, Catherine earned her MBA from the University of Mary Washington and was recently married in October 2015.
Catherine joined the board of RBBBS in 2014 and remains active throughout the Fredericksburg Community.  She and her husband, Dr. Lloyd F. Moss III live in downtown Fredericksburg with their dog, Link.

Katrina Bovone, Treasurer

Accounts Receivable Director, Pathways

Katrina is the Accounts Receivable Director for Pathways. She has been with Pathways for 20 years. Katrina is a 2014 graduate of Leadership Fredericksburg and served as a mentor to a fellow in the 2015 class. She is a certified life coach and a member of the Spotsylvania Chapter of the DAR.
Katrina graduated from the University of Maryland. She is an avid photographer. Katrina lives in Spotsylvania with her husband Rich.

Michelle Hedrich, Executive Director

Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters

Michelle Hedrich joined the staff in 2011. A Maine native, Michelle has extensive nonprofit management expertise having served as the Executive Director of the Southern Maine Community College Foundation, as President of the Junior League of Portland Maine and as an administrator at the American Psychological Association. Youth development has been the central focus of her employment and community leadership positions.
As the Chair of the School Board in Portland Maine, she served as a leader overseeing Maine’s largest and most diverse school system. An active community volunteer, she has served on over 30 boards and committees and is currently a member of the Junior League of Northern Virginia and on the Leadership Team of the Community Collaborative for Youth & Families. 
Michelle graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Management. She received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University.  Michelle is a member of the Class of 2017 of the Leadership Fredericksburg program of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce.
