The Board of Directors and Staff of Big Brothers Big Sisters are a compassionate and dedicated group of individuals who are willing to do whatever it takes to help change children’s lives for the better.
Catherine Moss, President
Lloyd F. Moss, DDS, Office Manager
Catherine joined the office of Dr. Lloyd F. Moss, Jr, DDS and Dr. Lloyd F. Moss III, DDS in 2017. She works alongside her family and helps with the management of office operations. Prior to joining the family business, she served at the Naval Warfare Surface Center, Dahlgren Division for nearly 7 years. During her time at Dahlgren, she worked in the Human Resources Division in various capacities, including Project Management, Staffing, and Labor and Employee Relations.
Catherine’s educational background includes a Business degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington. Catherine joined the Board of RBBBS in 2014 and remains active throughout the Fredericksburg Community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, boating, and spending time with her family and friends outdoors. Catherine and her husband, Dr. Lloyd F. Moss III, live in downtown Fredericksburg with their dog, Link.
Heather Hagerman, 1st Vice President
Heather Hagerman is a Senior Sales Associate for Coldwell Banker Commercial Elite and is an International Diamond Society and Emerald Club Member. She has been awarded as a Northern Virginia Top Realtor and a People's Choice Realtor in the Free Lance Star. A native Virginian, Heather began her real estate career in Southern California before returning to the Fredericksburg area. Prior to the start of her real estate career, Heather owned a successful marketing and advertising company. She assisted businesses with introducing new products, managing their branding efforts, creating compelling campaigns and conducting research.
Heather received her bachelor’s degree in Communications from NC State. Her other community volunteer roles include appointment to the Stafford Economic Authority and as a founding member of Go Red, American Heart Association. Heather lives in Fredericksburg with her husband Tom Falkenberg and her son Luc.
Debra Levy, 2nd Vice President
Debra Levy is founder and CEO of Key Media & Research, a 27 year old marketing and information services company located in North Stafford, VA. Deb has more than 30 years of experience in not-for-profit management, marketing and research. Her company is involved in print and digital publications, social media, video, not-for-profit management and more. She holds an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Math from the University of New York at Albany and was originally planning to be a Math teacher before she got involved in the student newspaper and communications. She holds a Master’s Degree in Economic Development from the University of Southern New Hampshire and lives with her husband and very old beloved dog Danni in Stafford.

Jackie has over 22 years experience in banking. She has served in various positions and currently serves as Senior Vice President Commercial Banker.
Jackie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Finance from York College of Pennsylvania where she graduated cum laude and was an active member of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority. She has also graduated from The Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at the University of Virginia in 2002 and the ABA Stonier National Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009.
Jackie is active on community boards within the Greater Fredericksburg community. In addition to her service on the Board of Directors of the Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters, Jackie is the past Treasurer of the Rappahannock Council Against Sexual Assault. Jackie lives in Fredericksburg with her husband, Brad and two daughters.
Michelle Hedrich, Executive Director

Michelle Hedrich joined the staff in 2011. A Maine native, Michelle has extensive nonprofit management expertise having served as the Executive Director of the Southern Maine Community College Foundation, as President of the Junior League of Portland Maine and as an administrator at the American Psychological Association. Youth development has been the central focus of her employment and community leadership positions.
As the Chair of the School Board in Portland Maine, she served as a leader overseeing Maine’s largest and most diverse school system. An active community volunteer, she has served on over 30 boards and committees and is currently a member of the Junior League of Northern Virginia and on the Leadership Team of the Community Collaborative for Youth & Families.
Michelle graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Management. She received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University. Michelle is a member of the Class of 2017 of the Leadership Fredericksburg program of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce.
