The Scoop on the New Partnership between RBBBS and Bruster’s -- Kristi Rice is General Manager of the two local Bruster’s Real Ice Cream stores, one on Rt 208 at Breezewood and the other on Rt 610 in Garrisonville. Bruster’s has conducted fundraisers of their own in the past for Big Brothers Big Sisters and participated as a vendor in the agency’s 8^th Annual Taste of Fredericksburg last year. Kristi recently called to sign up as a sponsor for the agency’s 30^th Annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake, where they will be scooping out free ice cream on all three dates of the event — March 8, 9 & 15. “We are proud to call Big Brothers Big Sisters our organization of choice for all our charitable events, “ Kristi said. “We look forward to doing some fun events in the future, like PJ day for the Bigs and Littles. Ice cream and kids are such a great natural match!”
