Board Committees

Executive Committee -- This committee consists of all officers, the Past President, and the Executive Director. The Committee has and exercises all powers of the Board of Directors, except amending the bylaws, removal of Officers and members of the Board, and the election of Officers - - excluding the filling of vacancies. This committee sets objectives consistent with the Agency's mission and strategic plan, makes financial decisions, examines potential projects, including fundraisers, before putting a motion before the full Board, and annually reviews the agency’s Personnel Manual.

Board Development -- This committee ensures community representation on the board and honorary board by defining types of representation needed and seeking out qualified people to fulfill these needs.

Strategic Planning -- This committee is charged with the annual examination of the Agency's short- and long-range goals and the development of a five-year Strategic Plan for review by the entire Board.
Chair -- Lori Simms

Budget & Finance -- This committee concerns itself with all financial matters which may be of importance to the Agency, including annual budget development and planning, and the adoption and monitoring of Agency fiscal policy, congruent with objectives set out in the Agency's long-range plan. This committee meets periodically and reports to the board on the status of the Agency's financial position.

Fund Development -- This committee, comprised of Honorary and working Board members, as well as community leaders, enhances the overall fundraising efforts of the agency by creating and supporting new and existing initiatives, assisting with setting fundraising goals, and evaluating and reporting on findings for all funding initiatives.
