 Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters is a nonprofit agency serving the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George and Caroline. We are a fully affiliated member agency of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America - the nation's premiere mentoring movement which has promoted positive youth development for over 100 years.
Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters matches children, ages 6-13, with positive, caring volunteers who act as role models. Our “Bigs” provide the missing link with friendship, guidance and encouragement and often fill the gap created by the loss of a parent. It is a second chance for a child to receive additional one-on-one attention, to be recognized for their talents and courage and to be supported in growing into healthy, strong adults.
