Lori Yelverton, is the Chief Executive Officer of Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters. Lori has been part of the agency and has served in several roles prior to her current one, including Volunteer Enrollment, Volunteer Training, and Match Support Specialist. Lori earned a degree in Business Administration from Michigan State University. She spent several years with US Steel in Atlanta, Georgia before moving to Alexandria, Virginia, where she enjoyed fifteen years in trade association management, specializing in financial and human resource management. She has been with RBBBS for four years and loves working with children. Lori feels fortunate to be making an impact in our community through her work at Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters. “It is my heart’s desire to see the lives of children continue to be transformed through the friendship and guidance of their mentors.” says Lori. She is looking forward to the challenge of building and improving RBBBS’s relationship with our community partners and further enhancing our programs.
