Virginia Department of Transportation is holding a Captains Choice Golf Tournament open to the community to benefit Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters! The tournament is Monday, October 27th at Meadows Farm. VIRGINIA GENTLEMEN'S SPRING DANCE AND BEACH PARTY
Each year we partner with the Virginia Gentlemen to sponsor this event which was held on May 10, 2014. We had a wonderful time at the Fredericksburg Eagles Club dancing to the sounds of the The Band of Oz playing Carolina Beach Music! Next year's event will be held on April 11, 2015. Mark your calendars now!
On Tuesday, May 6th Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters participated in The Community Give, a one-day online fundraising event that united our local community to support nonprofits serving our area. The goal was to raise much needed funds while raising awareness of our impact on the community! Our thanks to the Community Foundation for sponsoring this event!
BOWL FOR KIDS' SAKE
Thank you to all our supporters for Bowl for Kids' Sake, our signature fundraiser for Big Brother's Big Sisters. Your support provided vital funding to support local mentoring programs. Every dollar donated stays in our community to help more children realize their potential. You helped us raise over $44,000 to fund our one-to-one mentoring program, which services children from 6-17 years of age.
