Michelle Hedrich

Michelle Hedrich, Executive Director, joined the staff in 2011. A Maine native, Michelle has extensive nonprofit management expertise having served as the Executive Director of the Southern Maine Community College Foundation, as President of the Junior League of Portland Maine and as an administrator at the American Psychological Association. Youth development has been the central focus of her employment and community leadership positions. As the Chair of the School Board in Portland Maine, she served as a leader overseeing Maine’s largest and most diverse school system. An active community volunteer, she has served on over 30 boards and committees and is currently a member of the Junior League of Northern Virginia.

Michelle graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Management. She received a Master’s degree in Public Administration from The George Washington University.

Janelle Betancourt

Janelle Betancourt came to the agency as an Old Dominion University (ODU) intern. Her enthusiasm for the agency's mission and her amazing work ethic resulted in a full-time position with the agency. She is a Match Support Speciaist, the Special Events Coordinator and program manager for the Campus Pals program at the University of Mary Washington. She received her Bachelor's degree from ODU and is currently pursuing her Masters.

Kristen Fox

Kristen has been a part of RBBBS for many years, serving as the agency's "virtual administrative assistant". She provides our mentors with a weekly activity list and a monthly newsletter, as well as the occasional email regarding upcoming agency activities and events.

Cynthia Osband

Cynthia Osband, Bigs in Schools Coordinator and Casework Supervisor, has been a member of the agency's staff since 2006. She received her education through the University of Maryland, before retiring from a 22 year career in the United States Navy. She currently volunteers as a Big Sister in the Community Based program, an experience which has equipped her well for her role on the Agency’s staff. She is also a volunteer with the Senior Visitors Program snd previously volunteered with the Literacy Reading and Habitat for Humanity programs.

Regina Price

Regina Price, Enrollment & Match Support Specialist, joined RBBBS in December 2007. She received her Associates Degree in Business Administration in 1994 from Strayer University. Regina also received a Diploma of Arts Degree in Pastoral/General Church Leadership with emphasis on mentoring women and children from World Harvest Bible College in Columbus, Ohio, May 2005. She completed her Bachelor's of Arts in Business Administration at Strayer University in 2011.

She has previous Case Management experience through New Vision, a Faith Based Organization. New Vision is a non-profit that focuses on Prison Re-Entry for Women Offenders/Ex-offenders. Her past experience as a Youth Minister, Big Sister with RBBBS in the late ‘90's and employment with the Rappahannock Juvenile Center in Stafford, Virgina as a Resident Supervisor also brings a broad range of knowledge and skill working with children. She is pursuing her master's degree in education. Regina's motto is "A child doesn't know how or why unless we teach, train, and mentor them."

Maureen Fitzgibbons

Maureen is our bookkeeper extraordinaire'. She has worked for the agency periodically throughout the years and provides us with excellent accounting support and advice.
